Welcome to House of Bliss.
 Thank you for choosing to bring restored, refound furniture and handcrafted pieces into your home.
We take great care to restore each item with intention and integrity, and these terms exist to ensure the journey between us is clear, fair and protected.
By placing an order with House of Bliss, you agree to the following terms.

1. Our Products

Many of our pieces are vintage or antique and have lived full and varied lives before reaching us.
Every item is:
  • Restored with care.
  • Photographed honestly.
  • Described to the best of our ability.
Small variations, surface character and gentle ageing are part of their story and are not considered defects.
Candles and diffusers items are new and handcrafted.

2. Pricing & VAT

OPTION A — if NOT VAT registered (default):


Prices are not currently subject to VAT.

Should House of Bliss become VAT registered in future, prices will be updated accordingly.

OPTION B — if VAT registered:


All prices shown include VAT.

3. Ordering & Payment

Payment is taken at the time of ordering.
 Your order is confirmed once payment has cleared.
For large furniture items, a separate delivery quote will be sent after checkout.
Delivery must be accepted and paid before dispatch.
House of Bliss reserves the right to decline orders where items are no longer available, incorrect pricing has occurred or delivery is not possible.

4. Delivery

Delivery times vary depending on the item and destination.
We work with trusted couriers and will always communicate your delivery window and courier details where available.
If a delivery cannot go ahead due to:
  • No one being home.
  • Incorrect or incomplete contact information.
  • Access restrictions.
the courier may apply a re-delivery fee.
We will always communicate this clearly and kindly.

5. Access Requirements

Furniture dimensions are listed on each product page.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:
  • Doorways.
  • Hallways.
  • Stairwells.
  • Lifts or narrow turns.
Can accommodate their chosen piece.
If a piece cannot be delivered due to access restrictions, courier return fees may apply.

6. Holding Purchased Items

We understand some homes are in transition.
House of Bliss will hold a paid-for item for:
  • up to 14 days as standard, or
  • 30 days by prior agreement.
Holding begins once payment is received in full.
If delivery is not arranged within the agreed time, storage fees may apply.

7. Returns

Restored Furniture:
Restored furniture is non-returnable, as each piece is unique and has been individually refinished.
Returns are only accepted if the item has arrived damaged or significantly not as described, in accordance with our Damage & Liability Policy.
Candles & Diffusers:
May be returned within 14 days if:
  • Unused.
  • In original condition.
  • Packaging intact.
Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

8. Damage in Transit

If an item arrives damaged, we ask for notification within 48 hours with accompanying photographs.
We will arrange repair, replacement or refund depending on the situation.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

Your personal information is used solely for:
  • Processing your order.
  • Arranging delivery.
  • Customer support.
We do not share data unnecessarily.

10. Limitation of Liability

House of Bliss is not liable for:
  • Delays caused by couriers.
  • Missed deliveries due to incorrect contact information.
  • Access issues preventing delivery.
  • Natural characteristics of restored furniture.
  • Damage caused after delivery through handling, movement or incorrect care.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
