About

House of Bliss

Where restoration, storytelling and thoughtful delivery meet.
House of Bliss brings together sourcing, restoration and styling to create spaces, settings and collections with warmth, character and a sense of belonging.
Working across private homes, property developments, boutique stays, events and commercial environments, every project is approached with care, restraint and attention to detail.

Founded by Samantha, the business combines an instinctive eye for beauty, history and craftsmanship with a professional background in project leadership and customer experience. The result is work that feels intuitive and poetic on the surface, yet calm, considered and expertly managed beneath.

Restored Pieces, Living Spaces

A defining part of our approach is the integration of restored furniture within home staging.
Rather than relying on anonymous rental pieces, spaces are layered with characterful furniture that has been carefully sourced, restored and curated. These pieces bring warmth and authenticity, allowing people to connect emotionally with a space.
It is this layering of history into presentation that sets House of Bliss apart. Rooms feel lived in rather than staged. Considered rather than constructed.
When a restored piece is used within a staged property, it may be made available for purchase by arrangement. There is never obligation only the possibility of ownership when something truly resonates.

Our Team

House of Bliss is supported by experienced hands behind the scenes.
Kirsty our Head of Styling brings over 20 years of experience in interior styling, including show homes, alongside a formal background in interior design. Her work is guided by instinct as much as expertise, with a natural ability to bring balance to a space, whether working with period homes, contemporary settings or something in between.
Working closely with our restored pieces, she composes interiors that feel cohesive, considered, and quietly memorable.

A Way of Working

Every project is approached with clarity, planning and care. Timelines are respected. Communication is calm and considered. Clients know where they stand at every stage.
This balance of emotional intelligence and delivery discipline allows us to work seamlessly with estate agents, developers, hosts and private clients alike.

Art of Sourcing

Many of the pieces restored begin their journey far from home.
From French brocantes to Italian markets tucked behind sun-warmed streets, furniture is chosen for its form, craftsmanship and sense of possibility. Often it is instinct that leads the way a curve, a weight, a detail that suggests what a piece could become.
There is a particular satisfaction in recognising potential. In returning something overlooked to quiet presence.

Restoration as Ritual

Restoration at is unhurried and intentional.
In the workshop, classical music fills the space as pieces are stripped back, repaired and refined by hand.

The rhythm of the process matters. Surfaces are allowed to settle.
Proportion is restored rather than imposed.
The aim is never perfection.
It is balance.
What is given patience and care carries that energy forward.

It settles differently in a room.
It feels alive again.

What Guides Us

  • Restoration over replacement
  • Character over perfection
  • Calm over clutter
  • Emotion over trend
  • Craft, supported by structure
The aim is not to impress loudly, but to resonate deeply.
